Juice vs. Smoothies

While they are both proclaimed to be healthy, which is better – juicing or making a smoothie?

JUICES
– easier to digest, less for the body to process to get to the nutrients
– you will revive a vast amount of concentrated nutrients in a smaller helping
– juice “fast” have many nutritional and healing attributes

SMOOTHIES
– heavy in the fibers of the fruits and vegetable and can help eliminate bodily waste
– smoothie additions (nuts, protein powder, flaxseed oil, avocado etc.) lower the glycemic index and lower the potential bump in your blood sugar
– can offer much needed protein post workout
